PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
We are responsible for communicating externally with companies to organize corporate visits, speakers, dinners, and networking events for our brothers. We also work internally within the chapter to educate each semester’s newest pledge class on professional etiquette.

We are responsible for planning and facilitating events for the chapter to engage in service and philanthropic work. These events include philanthropic trips and hosting fundraisers.

We make efforts towards educating our chapter on the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Then we find ways to incorporate these principles into our organization.

CREATIVITY & INNOVATION COMMITTEE
We looks at various areas of our Chapter than can be improved and use the creative process to ideate unique, creative solutions. Members will learn about the creative process and how to use design-thinking to problem solve and get experience applying this knowledge to functions within our Chapter.

BROTHERHOOD COMMITTEE
Our goal is to further relationships brothers have amongst each other within the chapter. We are responsible for planning various social events to help brothers connect on a more personal level.

RECRUITMENT COMMITTEE
We are responsible for planning and executing all of the events during recruitment season. Managing both brothers and potential new members’ information, the committee is the primary facilitator of both the internal and external aspects of recruitment.

We are responsible for measuring the performance of other committees, educating members on how to use analytics tools for better decision making and for completing projects that help committees be more effective and efficient.

We are responsible for establishing and maintaining the AKPsi brand. We set the vision for and manage the overall marketing strategy for recruitment, while working on projects to continue expanding our footprint.

BLUE SAPPHIRE EQUITIES
Blue Sapphire Equities is a student-run investment committee that educates its members on specific facets of finance & investing. Through an extensive introductory education program, each new member learns several skills including Microsoft Excel training, Bloomberg Terminal training, general investment concepts, and how to discuss investment terminology. After new member education, members form teams and develop their own pitches for stocks or other investments of their choosing.
