Our History

Founded in 1904 at New York University, Alpha Kappa Psi was built on the foundational pillars of professional development, philanthropy, and brotherhood. Since the fraternity’s humble beginnings, Alpha Kappa Psi Gamma Chi has distinguished itself as a crown jewel within the fraternity’s esteemed history, earning national recognition for chapter excellence. Notably Gamma Chi has been celebrated for its exemplary initiatives, including East Bridge Consultancy, a student-run consulting firm, and Blue Sapphire Equities, a student-managed stock portfolio. These experiences, among many others, help our brothers secure remarkable employment opportunities. Through these initiatives, Gamma Chi continues to set the standard for excellence, preparing its members for success in the professional world.
