The Recruitment Process

What does the application process look like?

  1. If you are interested in learning more about Alpha Kappa Psi, you will first attend one of the information nights on Tuesday, February 13th or Monday, February 19th. During the info night, you will not only learn about AKPsi at Miami, but you will also have the opportunity to hear from brothers about their experience in the chapter.

  2. After info night, there will be an option for you to attend a resume and case interview workshop on Friday, February 23rd. This workshop will give you the chance to meet one of one with a brother to look over your resume. You will receive tips, as well as pointers on how to enhance your resume to the best of your ability. Following the resume workshop, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our case interview workshop. Case interviews allow individuals to showcase their ability to tackle real-life business issues. You will hear from executive members of our student-run consulting firm, East Bridge Consultancy, as to how to best participate in your group case interview. Liz Bregman, our VP of Recruitment, will also be there to offer advice. While this event is optional, it is highly encouraged that you attend.

  3. In addition to our resume and case interview workshop on Friday, February 23rd, we are hosting our second semi-annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) panel, where you can listen to our panel of guest speakers discuss various DEI topics and ask questions. This event is optional but highly encouraged and will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in FSB 0020!

  4. The final step of applying is to click the link below and you will be redirected to the application page. You will submit your final resume, and the VP of Recruitment will get back to you with your interview round decision. Applications are due Saturday, February 24th, at 11:59pm.
